Only the people you invited.
Six hundred invited, nine hundred through the door, the caterer out of food by eight. Give every guest on your list their own pass and only that list gets in.
Set up my event What it costsThe problem every host knows
Printed cards get photographed
A card works for anybody holding it, including the three people it was sent to on WhatsApp.
A list and a biro is a queue
Two ushers checking four hundred names is an argument at the gate and a cousin waved through because the line is long.
Nobody counts properly
You catered for four hundred. Did four hundred come? Nobody can tell you, then or the next morning.
How it works
- Your list, as you have itPaste it straight from the spreadsheet: name, phone, email, table. Or add people one at a time.
- Ada Okoro +2Type it exactly like that. One pass, three people, counted as three when they walk in.
- A pass eachSent by text and email. Their name, their table, and a QR that works once.
- Tables and notesYour ushers see the table the moment a code is scanned, and any note you wrote about that guest.
At the door
The part that goes wrong at every event, and the reason this exists.
- Scanned onceForward a pass and the friend gets in instead, once. Nobody gets in twice on the same code.
- No signal, no problemThe gate holds every code on the hardware, and door phones keep the whole list on the handset.
- A screen at the entranceNames appear as people arrive, with the table and how many came with them.
- Search any nameTwo letters tells an usher their table, whether they are on the list, and whether they already came in.
What it costs
Up to thirty guests
Everything above: passes, the gate, the door screen and the register afterwards.
Larger than that
A guest is one line on your list. "Ada Okoro +2" is one guest, three people, ₦300. A two hundred guest wedding is ₦51,000 — less than the printing.
